マーティンギターのシリアルナンバー、3,000,000を記念し製作されたD-300。
アディロンダック・スプルース材のトップは、マーティンの工場があるシカモア・ストリートからシカモアの木の断面を表現。
シカモア材とシルバーで飾られた年輪のデザインはマーティン社の成長の軌跡を表現しており、ボディの表面に散りばめられた純金のドットはマーティン社の192 年の歴史における重要な瞬間を示している。
エボニー材で作られたピックガードには、ペンシルバニア州ナザレスの地図が描かれ、3つのマーティン工場を示す位置をルビーで象嵌。
希少なブラジリアン・ ローズウッドで作られたバック材には、美しいシカモアの木がアバロン貝で描かれ、ニューヨークでの創業当初から今まで、会社の伝統に足跡を残してきた数え切れないほどのマーティンの従業員に敬意を表し、マーティンの品質、芸術性、そしてマーティン社を築き上げた従業員の不変の功績を表したギターだ。
