それはカリフォルニア州にてレクリエーション用の大麻が合法化されたことだ。
モデル名の「420」とは大麻のスラングを意味し、「Prop(法案)64」のほか、様々なメッセージがアメリカ独自のセンスでボディにプリントされている。
このモデルの持つ意味が、日本にいる我々には理解しきれない部分もあるかもしれないが、これまでもマーティンは多くの社会現象を受け止め、音楽とともに伝承してきた。
